I think the reason some people have really low numbers is there are different base lines from prepregnancy (up to 5 I think or maybe higher I can't remember which numbers) so if you started with 1 it would double to 2, then 4, then 8 as the first 3 doubles compared to someone with a 5 going 10, 20, 40 and so on. When I went back on 5/22 a day after, that’s when they told me I have two GS with a YS, one was not developing and the other looked at 6 weeks 5 days but no fetal pole, they believe that the other twin is giving low HCG.
